Considering this is the biggest around its rather a dissapointment, so much wasted space tiny sauna and jacuzzi but huge steam room which is great. Smoking area is pretty rubbish and dirty with no mats just wet decking. Bar is huge but never utilised to its potential at all. This place has so much potential but its just not being used properly. And opening hours are ridiculous only open a couple days a week and closes far to early when greenhouse is open till midnight and ram on weekends and basemebnt till 11 and till 9am on weekends

Sauna is very big, clean, well maintained and coffee area is huge. The building itself is lovely, an art deco piece , once offices for a chemical works in Winnigton.

After being to a few saunas in London and the South East, I decided to go to the infamous Northwich Sauna (now with their new name). Its the biggest of its kind, and tells no lie with this statement! Compare to other compact saunas, this one is very spacious, and makes for a good and worth-your-while visit. They have different themed days, so that many types of people can go. It is very inclusive, for all ages 18+ and gender identities. Despite known as a male-only sauna, they have bi days, and are also trans friendly. I went with a friend who had never experienced a gay sauna before, and it definitely helped him to be more confident in going to such places. They are very welcoming but especially for first timers, they can be daunting. The sauna staff were friendly and keep an open mind to those who walk in the door. As for others who attended when we did, most showed respect. What Ive found from these places though is that you can really get a mixed bag of people. Be aware or your own safety and the safety of others. Report anything you see to be breaking the rules of the sauna, because the staff will get onto it. Respect and mutuality is key in these sorts of places, to ensure everyone has a good time.
