Extremely impressed with the service at Vincent James. The team are so friendly and not your typical sales-type estate agents. Great communication by phone and email, and nothing was ever any trouble. It was a pleasure to work with them throughout the purchase of my new house, and although I hope it wont be anytime soon, when I do come to sell I will definitely be instructing Vincent James. Thank you!

Brilliant..sold out house very quickly and professionally and extremely friendly..didn't receive a lot of calls or updates but sold our house none the less

We decided to use Vincent James because of all the good reviews they had, we didn't bother to look at any other agencies because they are very local. Unfortunately, after 3 months they failed to sell our house and we also felt the whole process with them were very stressful and minimal. The reasons in short are as follows:- 1. There was minimal advice, in regards to presenting our house. 2. Small things we found quite unprofessional, such as leaving lights on after viewings, late for nearly every viewing appointment, also doesn't let us know when viewing is finished. (We have a young baby) 3. Their attitude as a growing business was upsetting. They were very friendly to start with, but when i questioned why we haven't got any offers after around two and half months, they pointed out things that were all our mistakes, didn't mention anything they could have done better. They said 'BEING HONEST, YOUR HOUSE IS VERY POORLY PRESENTED'. When i expressed my feelings that i didn't feel the service we received was to standard, first thing they said was 'WELL, YOU ARE NOT BOND WITH US, 28 DAYS NOTICE THEN YOU CAN LEAVE US.' Second thing they said was 'WOW, I AM REALLY SURPRISED, ALL WE GOT IS GOOD REVIEWS, YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE SAID THIS!' Then followed with all the things we done wrong and with a very defensive attitude. After speaking with both James and Vincent and got the same attitude and response, we felt very stressed, felt like it was all our fault, but we thought if you noticed all these problems why didn't you tell us in the beginning? Shouldn't this be part of the estate agents job to advise us on how to present our house and sell my house? Then they said ' YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO PRESENT YOUR HOUSE, SOME PEOPLE WILL FIND IT OFFENSIVE IF WE SAY YOUR HOUSE NEEDS THINGS MOVING/CHANGING' But we want you to SELL OUR HOUSE , not be our friend? You can tell me in a polite way? In the end, we have given our notice. We want to say, they probably done 60% of what all estate agent will done, there isn't any big mistake they done, just very minimal effort. All we wanted was talk about what can we could do better together so we can sell our house quickly. With all the small things added together and the bad attitude we got, we decided to write this honest review, hoping people are aware, also wish this can ring a bell for them and they can eventually see it as a good experience to improve. A good business should be able to take criticism, when facing complaints and willing to accept imperfections and review themselves to improve.
