Shrublands Farm B & B & Caravan Site

A narrow road to get to the camp site, difficult if you have a largish caravan. Once on site it's a farmers field on a slope. Porta cabins with 4 toilets and 2 showers with plenty of hot water. Pitches need to be layed out better with marking on the fencing as we were told we were on the wrong pitch. Campers either side of us had also pitched in the wrong place leaving us no alternative but to pitch where we did. The only good thing about this site was that it was peaceful and the pub down the road does amazing food and were very hospitable. Sorry but won't be returning!

Spotlessly clean, compact but had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. A little tricky to find in the dark but we had no choice.. there was a very good marker in place... We stayed in one of the 2 Shepherds huts available... No running water to the hut but the toilet and shower block were 10 yards away... These were fabulously clean and warm. Just the ticket in the freshness of the night... Ann, our host was lovely and very understanding that we were late arrivals... Good communication throughout. The hut itself was clean, with a small fridge, microwave, 2 hob stove, TV, toaster, kettle, tea coffee etc... Bagels, cereals and milk were also provided..a very nice touch.. the huts share a field with caravanners and potentially campers, so we will definitely look at making a return visit in the future.
