A wonderful RIP-OFF place. I showed the invoice to a pro mechanic he laughed saying why do they changed the oil when something else is the source of issue!! The did it after charging me for diagnosis so it means they knew oil wasnt the source of the problem. There are so many honest mechanics in the town. DO NOT TRUST THESE RIP-OFFs.

A local reliable Garage. Their work is professional. I use their service at regular interval for MOT and Annual Service. I have not been let down yet but could do with some "Discount" on Customer Loyalty!

Unhappy with mot & full service 20.08.22 Only 4000 miles done since last mot & full service by this garage.. Current mileage 21499 miles on 16 plate 1.4 corsa Long story but my car passed its mot but reported creaking noise in suspension not picked up with any resulting mot fault to warrant any remedial work... full service charge included extra 41.99 + vat for replacement x2 Bosch front windscreen wipers not agreed beforehand...to be fair , the manager apologised and returned 20.00 as a good will gesture even though i did not consider them to be faulty and were working OK the last time I used them but imo confusion over the oil change performed by this garage (at short notice which I was really grateful for) a few days prior to the mot & full service resulted , I believe, in the full service not being carried out on the scheduled date and my service book has been stamped showing only the oil change done 17.08.22 ... Observations brought to the garage attention were given plausible excuses so I asked to see the mechanics check list but i was advised they did not have one! .. and the full service does not have a report, only an invoice ... ..but when the suspension creaking sound returned again last sat I brought this to the garage attention again .. they offered to take another look free of charge and reasoned a squeak would not fail an mot test but then failed to answer my last two emails ..hence reluctantly i've raised this review.. My reasons for not believing the full service to be done are as follows I could not see or feel any difference after picking my car up to show evidence of the full service being done.. Clutch pedal and hand brake no noticeable adjustments to me.. When ignition key turned the engine on it sounded rich unlike last year when you couldn't hear the engine running. . On arriving home , I lifted the bonnet and noticed battery terminals dry.. then bonnet catch and door hinges not greased... then windscreen bottle not topped up.. (I allowed the manager to sit into the car and look under the bonnet to witness my claims...whilst the office man topped up my windscreen washer bottle the following Tuesday after bringing the car back to the garage) More anomalies were reported by email when I compared last years full service invoice.. Last year's invoice showed charges for environmental disposal, windscreen washer and brake cleaner all of which not mentioned on this year's invoice .. And finally, the garage did not reply to suspension photo emailed to them.. I will let you judge whether you think my service was done.. please see attached photos .. it may have been done but I can't see or feel any difference..and my suspension still squeaks 29.09.22 .. I have reduced my 2* review to 1* ..guilty garage silence response I think says it all !! ..and now I'm convinced my car is pulling to the left! Unable to create another review so cannot show photos..but emailed garage with photos attached... more photos available if required.. updated 31.03.23 what part of this review is dishonest? i have an answerphone on my landphone and mobile ..when did you contact me in the last 6 months? .. My service book has not been updated correctly and my service bill is not showing consumables as in previous MOT and full service carried out by yourselves this matter is closed .. I will not be returning ! i could not trust you again! - Mr O'Grady ..I'm still waiting for the RAC to reply to my email to them re my experience
