        I called at the Old Rose Nursery to choose a rose for a friend whose father had passed away. I was helped immediately and shown a number of beautiful roses. I chose one called 'Precious Memories' and it has flowered recently with stunning deep pink blooms. Excellent. My friend is so pleased. Thanks for your advice and help in selecting this perfect rose.

        We've just had a wonderful afternoon out at this nursery. The couple running it are truly delightful and the lovely man is a fountain of rose knowledge. He answered all my questions about roses and showed me some of his excellent work with training climbers which I wanted to know about. The roses are so healthy. We have arrived home with a beautiful rose called cornelia and I'll be back to buy more very soon. Thank you my only wish is I had known about this nursery and waited before i began stuffing my garden with roses last year!
