We picked Jon and Tim to work with because we liked the combination of skills they brought to our project. Re-designing the inside of a 400 year old barn had its complexities, but they had both the knowledge and experience to guide us through it very successfully. It wasn't without its challenges at times, but we had open and constructive discussion to solve them. We now have a house that really suits our lifestyle, makes the best use of the space and still very much has a wow factor to the design for anyone new who sees it. And yet to our family it is very much home. That is the best of both worlds!

Tim and Jon from JHD Architects helped guide us through our building project from the initial design stage, to a successful planning application process and during the build itself. Their ideas, experience, commitment and can-do attitude were invaluable. We loved their design ideas but also how they listened to what we wanted and their genuine desire to create a home that worked for our family now and well into the future. Their knowledge of the planning application process and planners requirements enabled us to obtain permission from the initial submission. Tim and Jons experience and the speed with which any challenges were dealt with during the build was very reassuring. Although due to Tims forward planning and financial monitoring, put in place at the beginning of the project, there were not many. The good relationship between ourselves, JHD Architects and our builders, Magic Projects, made the renovation feel like a very successful team effort in which we all worked together to create a wonderful, modern home which we are delighted with.
