Burton Dassett Village Hall

Went to the local O gauge meeting and they had some model layouts running.refreshments were available. There's no car parking available at the village hall, you have to park on the nearby road and walk up a pathway to the village hall. It's signposted from the road but could easily be missed. There's also a small notice board at the entrance to the pathway.

Grand little place. A some have pointed out it needs restoration or rebuild. Car parking is only 20 metres to 100 meters away there is no designated car park however it and the area is wheel chair friendly. Over the years it has suffered many DIY attempts and a self declared master builder, a recent refurb sorted out a lot of problems. Nice location and A Brilliant Crowd of volunteers who put on good everything from drinks to food and they deserve a round of applause.

Burton Dasset village hall is a lovely place to organise an event or a party. It is hidden in the middle of a charming village and the hall has a lot of potential. You can easily bring your decoration to make the place looks great. The kitchen is fully equipped and the staff I met was helpful and kind. We had a good time for a reasonable amount of money. Thank you
