        We went to The Northcote on Tuesday night and had a wonderful experience, shout out to Jess for being an awesome bartender, she had solid banter would definitely go back thanks to her!

        Good place to watch sports and they hold pub quizzes which are quite entertaining. Drinks are fine but the food is EXCEPTIONALLY average. I ordered a brownie with ice cream, something really hard to get wrong. It was so bland I ended up leaving it. Same with some of the other food we ordered (like wings and finger food). There is a recurring theme in the reviews where the food is subpar. The place has good staff, drinks, group atmosphere, location the only thing pulling it down is the food. Definitely needs overhaul in the kitchen and menu to make it 5 stars

        Great ambience, fun pub quiz and super bar service. Lost two stars since the food is pretty bland and tasteless. From wings to chocolate cake, somehow everything is bland. Ideally just drink here, and go elsewhere to grab a bite.
