Took my gfs laptop to be fixed as it wouldn't turn on. They said it needed a new keyboard which seemed unlikely but she told them to do it. When we picked it up two of the keyboard screws had been undone but the two rear mounts had been cleanly snapped off indicating the keyboard had been roughly removed. I brought this up, the man behind the counter said the laptop is so old (2.5 years) the plastic had disintegrated. Unlikely. I said this, he started shouting "were you there" over and over and tried to grab the laptop off me, he failed at this and instead grabbed my gfs phone, which he then returned. My opinion is that something is seriously amiss with this repair and I certainly wouldn't use them again. In response to the owner. The photos are all the evidence I need. Both mounts cleanly snapped. Impossible to do without using force.

I found myself looking for a unique specialist, capable of upgrading and rebuilding a legacy MacPro to run very specialised, film negative scanners. I entered at least four shops in SW London, purportedly Mac specialist. To gain an understanding if they were capable of doing the job, asked a variety of questions. One, outright told me they were unable to help, one looked at me as if I was speaking in tongues, and ones suggested fix was a truly incredulous suggestion, illuminating that they were far from sure of the task at hand, in terms of how to proceed. Tim was completely the opposite. Firstly, he made me aware that what I was asking was in theory possible, but he could not guarantee success. Secondly, his appraisal of the parts supplied by myself indicated that he knew exactly what was being asked, and finally, his background. When you enter Ifix there is a display of early Macs to the present. The very first one you see, is what he was initially trained on! To find a Mac specialist to upgrade and rebuild a legacy machine is almost impossible, bar Tim, and the extremely professional and capable team at IFix, whom I would recommend without any hesitation whatsoever.
