If I could give this 0 stars I would. I had organised a baby shower due to take place on this Saturday gone - they sent me out the booking form on Tuesday which I sent back first class and paid the money into their bank account I had commutation daily with the woman even the night before the event. On the day of the baby shower we got to the hall and it was closed our guests had started arriving we were stood outside for an hour, with our decorations and food knocking trying to get inside up until we had to call the police. We heard nothing from anyone, the phones went to voicemail. We finally got through to the woman in the evening and she said she had not received the form back so couldn't let us in. Not at one point during the week did they say they hadn't received the form. The night before the event I was in communication with them and they had not once mentioned that there were any issues with the event taking place. They knew they weren't going to let us in and happily let us turn up on Saturday with our guests (including a pregnant woman) knowing we'd be stranded. I have never experienced something so awful before - they ruined the start of what was meant to be a beautiful day and though the best way to go about it would be to turn their phone off until the evening and ignore the fact we were standing outside. All you have to do is communicate with people. This is meant to be a charity. Be kinder to people. By some miracle with found another hall on the same day - Ridge Hall in potters bar and they were absolutely wonderful. We would absolutely recommend them as they were not only kind but extremely professional.
