Abington Tandoori, Northampton

I have ordered food to be delivered several times from the Abington Tandoori, we have sampled several different curry dishes from the vast menu and usual starters etc, i have always found the food well cooked and tasting fabulous, the food is delivered very hot and nearly always on time, they can be a downfall of their own success, so many orders to fulfill at one time so on a very rare occasion can be a little late, but the food is well worth the wait. you don't need to go anywhere else for your indian treat.just sit back order and enjoy. i will be back soon that's for sure.

The best Tandoori starters. So freshly cooked The currys are authenticity seasoned and freshly cooked Weekdays Monday, Tuesday , Thursday and Friday delivery is fast Takeaway is closed on a Wednesday but hey everybody needs a day off. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They don't seem to be able to add up the price from their own menu overcharged and very underwhelming definitely would not use again or recommend

THEY TAKE AGES TO DELIVER 2 hr wait

After years of using this place, I won't again on prinicple and neither will I recommend it. I ordered 3 meals and drinks, I recieved a message saying it was on its way and baring in mind, in the past when I've had the message the food has arrived piping hot within 10 minutes, I rang after 30 minutes to ask where my food was. I was told it was on it's way, I asked why it's taking over 30 minutes to arrive to be told the driver is delivering several in the area all in one go and it can take 45 minutes. I asked if my food has been in a car for 45 mins, will it still be hot, to which he said yes. So I waited... the food then arrived in almost exactly 45 minutes, the drinks were not available and the driver said I would be refunded, I haven't been, then we unpacked the food and everything was stone cold. There were also missing chips. I rang the restaurant and told them the whole lot was stone cold and they told me the manager would call me back about a refund. A day later...I have phoned again because I've had no call, to be told the manager is out delivering food and he'll ask him to call me when he's back. Shocking service, very disappointed, a meal I bought for convenience so I wouldn't have to clear up after a busy day, ended up with as many dishes as I'd have had cooking myself as the food all needed reheating, the omlette, thats meant to come with chips, mushrooms and onions was overcooked, shrivelled, tiny, and nothing with it at all!
