Reaching out to Leigh was one of the best decisions I've ever made, genuinely life changing. His warm, caring, and friendly demeanour immediately allows you to feel comfortable and he's always ready with solid practical advice to offer, of course alongside an empathetic ear. Would highly recommend Leigh to anybody experiencing difficulties, you couldn't be in better hands!

OCD had completely taken over my life when I first called Leigh. Diagnosed at 17 (now 34), I thought that I had learned to manage it through medication and traditional therapy that claimed to be CBT. How wrong I was. Before my first session with Leigh, I had reached a place where I was spending 12+ hours a day on obsessions and compulsions; I was barely present in my life. Leigh responded to my enquiry immediately and found space in his busy diary, a relief after an attempt to get help from a private, national OCD foundation failed earlier in the year when they promised to call me back to schedule an intake session but never did. I have difficulty talking about myself, but Leigh immediately made me feel safe to talk about really difficult and 'taboo' thoughts and fears that I hadn't previously imagined sharing with anyone. Throughout our sessions, he made me feel empowered and like we were charting a path out of OCD together, taking turns guiding the direction of the conversation and identifying next steps and challenges. Our conversations were collaborative and often fun in spite of the circumstances, as if we were solving a puzzle. This feeling of empowerment is one of the many aspects of working with Leigh that I feel has set me up for longterm success and confidence to continue with the healthy practices we identified. If you have OCD, it is critical that you work with a therapist who specializes in CBT/ERP for OCD. Many therapists will claim they can treat OCD but don't have the credentials, experience, or knowledge to understand and treat OCD effectively, often making the OCD far worse. Leigh is incredibly qualified, knowledgeable, educated, and experienced in treating OCD. Unlike most therapists, Leigh was able to successfully challenge my thinking patterns and assumptions and help me recognize the fallacies and unhelpful patterns I had adopted. He helped me to start thinking rationally and to take back control of my thoughts and my life. If you are struggling with anxiety or OCD, I cannot recommend Leigh enough. He helped me find my way out of a very dark place and to a point of self-awareness and health that I hadn't thought was possible to reach.

My work with Leigh has been nothing short of transformational for me and I cannot think of the words to use that would tell you how highly I recommend him or how grateful I am. I would liken therapy with Leigh to taking your car to an expert mechanic. I could only see the warning lights on the dashboard (e.g. anxiety), Lee popped the bonnet, got out his toolkit and dismantled the engine alongside me. I learned the source of those symptoms/warning lights and why it was no surprise they were lit up in the first place. He supported me through fixing the problems and turned those warning lights off one by one. He also taught me what to do if those lights ever come back on. Leigh effortlessly blends supportive listening with education and most importantly, empowerment. He helped me to learn things about myself that I was not even aware of - he shone a light on things I had never faced, acknowledged or resolved and he supported me to do all three. I will always be thankful that I found Leigh's website and booked in for sessions.

I don't really know how to put into words what Leigh had done for me personally. I have waited years to feel on top of things and I finally feel in control of me. I now have strategies to deal with my anxiety and feel equipped to handle stress in a much more constructive way. He is calm, kind and incredibly easy to talk too. I really can't recommend him enough. I really feel that I have my life back on track thanks to him.
