My diet was really poor, I'd be having fast food lots of times in the week and not considering the calories that I was consuming. I had started doing fitness classes at the gym before starting personal training but overall my fitness was not good and the workouts were not as effective as the PT has been. I was also struggling with motivation and confidence in the gym, not knowing how to properly use the equipment and consistently push myself to improve each week. I felt really demotivated and as I was not tracking calories, weights or taking progress pictures I wasn't able to see the benefits of just doing the classes. I felt really unfit and had a lot of feeling fat days. Being completely new to personal training I was not sure what to expect but I was nervous that there would be too many changes to my lifestyle that I would be unable to maintain over a long period of time. Whilst I didn't have any specific objections I did have reservations about making big changes to my diet. I definitely feel more confident in the gym and being able to complete sessions on my own without assistance. Having been tracking my calories for the past couple of months I am feeling more empowered to make balanced choices within my diet and recognising how to keep on track with calories as well as better understanding what foods will help me to reach my goals. Absolutely give it a go, you've nothing to lose but weight and you will feel a lot better in yourself by having the right tools to continue progressing. I was nervous before starting but being able to slowly ease into meal tracking after a couple of weeks and having consistent support in the gym was a massive help

I have always gone to the gym thinking I know best but Dharvin has show me so much more than I have ever known E.g a simple bench press, Dharvin has shown me to position myself better and lift lighter and slower and the result are showing. Working with Dharvin gives me more confidence in the gym and I feel I can lift more than I thought when with him. Every time we have a PT session together he shows me something new when lifting E.g squats, I have been putting the bar on my shoulders in the wrong place and I tend to role my coccyx (tail bone) in a little at the bottom of my lift All these small changes make a big difference and also makes it a lot safer to lift without putting extra stress on your joints. I think Dharvin is worth using, not only for his knowledge in the gym but also the after care of what food to eat and when not to eat. He tracks all your workouts and weight gain/loss and food on the recommend apps that makes it easier for both parties. Also just knowing that you have to do all this keeps me going as we all know its too easy to say Na I will do it tomorrow If I feel that I cant do a certain workout or I feel uncomfortable then he finds something different that works better for my body. If you are reading this please dont think you might do it just book a session and get going trust me you will feel better in yourself. Big thank you to you Dharvin and what we have covered in our first month together I look forward to the coming months.
