Rang after being told by my local independent garage that the fault I was experiencing needed a specialist diagnostic only to be told of there is no longer a warning light on the dash there's nothing for them to look at and the cars perfectly safe to drive. Despite being told by my local independent garage it was not. Apparently mini don't take comments from other garages on board. Spoke to sycamore mini Peterborough who were much more helpful and willing to help me sort the issue.

Never again I got told, the part (front grill for mini ) is ready to collect, driven for 1.5h to collect, got there, they didn have the part so they said, they will ship to my house next day. Waiting 3rd day without any information if that's coming or no. When called again, I got told it's not even been collected by courier, but will come tomorro. What a shop, I cancelled my order, easier to get from abroad.

Car dropped off for some investigation work. All carried out and repaired within the morning at a competitive price.

Not a great experience, was quoted 5k to fix my mini and then more money, if there was anything else that needed fixing once they started stripping the engine. Gone to another garage that not only fixed the issue for under 2k, but also found the actual issue that mini hadn't even picked up on and they confirmed what i had been quoted for on my estimate didn't even need fixing OR replacing, my car now drives arguably even better than when I first bought it. Massive con to get your money, go somewhere else and get it done for under half the price, i will say however that Chloe to lady i spoke to was beyond amazing and so patient and caring realising that 5k was a hell of a shock to my system, so thank you so much chloe.
