I have been looking for an hair dresser for ages. Came across Carmen hair dresser online. My first experience was Amazing. Both Carmen and Megan encouraged me to have the Keratin treatment which I did. My hair looked fantastic I also had some extensions put in. I would definitely recommend Carmen and Megan. Very professional excellent service knows exactly what they are doing. Also recommended products to use in my hair. Thank you Carmen and Megan see you both soon. The appointment I have 4b afrocaribbean hair and I have received an "Olaplex Stand Alone with Megan" in January 2023. Megan was gentle with my hair during all the process and I even received treats. I did not expect such a thoughtful service ! I was amazed by them both. My first visit I would like to say a huge thank you to Carmen and Megan. They have been so lovely with me. I mean, I arrived and they were busy with clients, but they took the time to smile and wave at me, to give me a warm welcome. (Nowadays, some people don't bother to do that at all sometimes). So I was very deligthed to be in presence of such lovely and bright ladies. Why Carmen Hair ? When I was young, I was relaxing my hair, then I coloured them (blond, red, orange, burgundy, purple, pink...). I had them long, mid-lenght, short, and start again the process ahah. (I liked to change hairstyles often). Then I moved from Caraibes to England, and I have decided to shave my hair in order to start from 0 and have my natural and versatile texture back. My big chop was in 2019 and since, I never been to a hairdresser. I had my own routine and I have been using natural products and some other brands (sulfate free). My hair grew up to the shoulders in 3 years. But at the end of 2022, they started to break (and this is when I wanted to do something new for them...). I have been thinking about going to a hairdresser... But I did not know where to go. Then I have found Carmen Hair on Google. I wanted to do a color first, but neither me or my husband were convinced that it was the best for my hair. When I have called Carmen Hair, I have talked about it and I have been advised wonderfully by her. We agreed on having a Keratine treatment instead. I really appreciated this advice, as I wanted to change, but I wanted to keep healthy curly hair. (I liked the fact that Carmen wanted the best for my hair, the best for me). At the begining of the treatment, I came up with curly hair and at the end of the treatment, I had a little trime and a brushing. My hair were absolutly soft and bright. I know that was the best for my hair and to promote hair growth. Actually, since the treatment, I dont have anything any hair breakage. So, I will carry on with my normal routine (oil, shampoo and leave-in conditionner etc). But I will also include the Keratine treatment in my routine, at least every 2 or 3 month. I cannot wait for my next visit. That was a great experience. I gave a detailed review just in case it might help someone who needed to read/hear that... Well done Carmen & Megan.
