Cedar Road Dental Practice

I was informed by the dental nurse that I needed another silver service deep clean at the end of my last appointment. I was told I needed to pay a deposit of 20. On booking in for my appointment I was told I needed to pay the remaining 96. When meeting the same dentist that informed me that I needed a 2nd silver service deep clean she explained before even examining me that I know longer required a deep clean. She spent 10 minutes cleaning my teeth with a teepee and was told this would cost me 70!! And I could keep the remaining on account towards my next appointment in 4 months for the same service. No thank you I will have a refund of 46 and can brush my own teeth for free. Extremely unethical would be an understatement. Both receptionists were wonderful though. Fuming!

After being a patient for 35 years I was told I had been struck off due to not attending for 2 years. They cancelled my last booking as the dentist was on holiday (granted, I didnt get around to rebooking immediately after) and we had covid to play with so I thought that was harsh. When I questioned why I wasnt informed prior so I could make a booking before the action was taken, I was told by the receptionist that there was a poster in the window!

Been at this place for around 20years (Since it first opened) Sadly I have watched its deterioration to what it is now. Recently had to go to another dentist to have there work corrected. The dentist commented on how poor there work was. Check up constantly cancelled last minuet by text. We have a child with Special Needs that has been spoken to appallingly and we have had to make formal complaints. Very poor and will be looking to love on in the new year.

Edit: on my latest appointment the doctor took time to go through all the payments with me and worked out how much each has costed. I hope it will stay clear in the future. Unfortunately very unclear pricing policy, with double charging for the same procedure, which has happened to me more that once. I have paid upfront only to be told I'm still owing them more and my credit was used for previous treatment, which has already been paid for too. All very convoluted, so I'm not able to keep a track of what I have to pay and how much.

All staff members are very polite and welcoming. Service as always is brilliant.
