Everyone I spoke to / communicated with at Key during our house sale and purchase were great, but Faye Kiernan in particular was brilliant- we were desperate to move before Christmas and it simply wouldn't have happened without Faye fighting for us. Whenever we sent an email we got a comprehensive response within a few hours, the communication was excellent.

Shocking experience; avoid at all costs. They do a copy and paste job on everything with so many errors (don't trust any of their numbers!). Zero customer service and they just try to fob you off. They won't give you any details on the searches you have paid for unless you ask! They overcharged me 10.2K for stamp duty. I challenged their interpretation of the rules and they said they "are the experts". Because of the mutiple issues with them I checked with HMRC after completion and I had been right. Key did nothing to help me and I had to get the refund myself.

Communication was good throughout our house selling/ purchasing, nothing above and beyond. A few annoying spelling mistakes on our names which proved time costly. Unfortunately, we were pretty much ignored when we had to report to them (our legal representatives) the state that our new home was left in. Garage, attic and garden full of the previous owners belongings. We sent photos immediately and very little effort was put in to getting them to pay for a skip despite us sending over quotes. We ended up forking out ourselves with no reimbursement. I guess thats what you get when you pay for a mainstream service instead of a smaller, family fun one. We had a good experience mostly from Key Conveyancing, Northampton however felt let down at the end.
