Golden Bird

Very poor! I ordered take away. House Fried noodles. 1st worry it was ready in about 4 minutes. But thought must not be busy. When i got the food home it could only be described at slop! Meat/rice was undercooked and the veg was boiled to a inche of its life! I can safely say the rice never saw a wok! Plus i think they used water was the garvey at a Cost of 7.00 When i took it back the aggressive cook tried to say i had ordered the wrong dish. So she did not have to refund the meal. The place used to be lovely but in the last 4 months or so gone right down hill. 1.50 / 2 put up on every meal and the quilty of ingredients has gone massively down. If i was you i would drive down to Laylands!

Food WAS amazing came Still hot!! Best Chinese Ive had in a long time and was here super fast on a Saturday evening. Going to be my new local Chinese!! The lady that delivered was super lovely also!!

Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. Ordered food at counter and was told usual 20 minute wait. Lots of other people awaiting orders too. Lots to raised voices coming through from behind the kitchen curtain and it was apparent that they were frantically trying to cook more orders than they were capable of producing and it was totally chaotic what dishes came out of the kitchen. After 40 minutes waiting I asked how much longer my order would take and the "reception" lady said not long now... I waited another 7 minutes so thstt was nearly an hour from originally placing my food order. Not acceptable. The dish itself Singapore Noodles was dry, luke warm and had mainly veg in it and hardly any meat. I will not be using this Chinese takeaway again and would recommend that other people think twice about using this establishment.
