An expensive mistake.

The worktop extends around two edges of the room and the splashback was book matched so the veins flow from top to wall perfectly (on one edge, on the other edge we have up stands where there is slight variance but we can live with that).
I can't wait to (safely) show it off to friends and family when lockdown is lifted.
Particularly impressed with how stain resistant it is (I thought it was marketing shpeel) but tea, coffee and red wine have bounced right off it so far (sometimes with a more vigorous scrub but it's still winning the battle).
Special shout out to the fitters who from what I can tell were a nice bunch. But I didn't get to chat for long as they finished the job so quickly (no complaints there!).
