On now. Batman 'ONE DARK KNIGHT' by renowned artist JOCK. He was there tonight with the black and white artwork for the first book. The artwork is visually striking, you can almost feel being in Gotham watching the panels unfold. Great work by Jefff to put it all together. Do check this place out when in town. Its free entry and the artwork changes regularly.

What an excellent addition to the landscape of Northampton! For anyone who might be hesitant about going in, don't worry; it's free to enter, it's a friendly environment, and there is no obligation or assumption that you are going to buy anything! There's an exhibition at the moment of Steve Dillon's work (running until 09/04/2022) which I can highly recommend checking out. It's a quick walk up Abington Street, or just a few metres away from St Michael's car park if, like myself, are more inclined towards the sedentary. The owner Jeff is hugely knowledgeable about the industry, and if you have even a passing interest, it's a real treat to get to speak to him. I've been reading and collecting comics for the best part of 30 years now, but in my day to day life, they are a form of media that largely gets no recognition - or even gets dismissed as being for children. To have a space like this in my town, putting a professional and dare I say grown-up spotlight on the thing that I love, makes me feel really proud. Huge thanks goes to Jeff, and I am really excited to see what's on next!
