Thank you for your review. Almost two years ago, on 10/05/22, I took the decision to reject any further custom from you.The grounds upon which my decision was based, are as follows:1) On 05/05/22 you failed to attend your drop off appointment on time.2) You didn't notify me that you'd be unable to attend your appt at 1:30pm. 3) You objected to the £26 quoted for 2 hours labour & fabric costs of £7 & bartered for a price below the NMW.4) On 10/05/22, you failed to attend your collection appt. 5) You failed to notify me that you would not be able to attend your appt - had you done so, it could have been offered to someone else.6) Your lateness negatively impacted the run time of appts proceeding yours, resulting in my business losing funds.The online booking tool encourages customers to read my Ts & Cs & ZTP before booking & it provides direct website links to each. These could also be found in your booking confirmation email. My Ts & Cs & my Zero Tolerance Policy state behaviours that customers exhibit that will lead to custom being rejected. As you will note, the above grounds for rejecting your custom are listed as objectionable behaviours. These terms and policies enabled you to easily identified yourself as a person whose custom was unwelcome. You booked online via the website in order to circumvent your ban. Regardless, you made your appt for 12:30pm on 29/02/24. You allege you "waited by the side of the road". As you were not on the premises i.e. waiting at the front door, I'd not be alerted to your presence. All appts are conducted within the boundary of my home - not on a public footpath. You allege that you arrived at 12:20pm - as detailed in my Ts & Cs & as you know from using my service before, I don't have a waiting area as I'm not a shop but a home business. For this reason customers are asked to arrive promptly. They are also advised not to arrive early as this interrupts the bookings of other customers.At 12:33pm my call log shows that you made an attempt to call me but as outlined in my Ts & Cs, where a customer is banned, they can expect their contact to be ignored & diverted to answerphone. At 12:38pm you left a passive aggressive text message regarding the non-attendance of your appt. You allege that you waited on the public footpath until 12:50pm. Given that your call at 12:33pm was rejected & the content of your text at 12:38pm, I find it highly unlikely that you would've continued to wait for me to attend. As you know from my terms, appts are of a 10 min duration & thus had your appt been honoured, it would've expired at 12:40pm.Rejecting custom is not a nice part of running my business but sadly it is absolutely essential. Negative customer behaviours have an impact on the service received by my other customers. In order to minimise the disruption caused to me, my home life, my customers & my business, I will restrict repeat offenders from using my service.I would advise all customers who value my service to treat me with respect. Mr Chen's review highlights the importance of being mindful of the value of a person's time & the negative implications of not reading & respecting the terms and policies that a business owner operates in order to maintain a professional service. Had he accepted that his custom was unwelcome rather than trying to circumvent the terms by booking online, he'd not have had this experience.
