Food poisoning! The menu stated that there was a Vegan feta salad dish. After ordering from the manager and stating that my partner was Vegan. Food was delivered to our table after a long wait period. My partner tried the Vegan feta and immediately said that it didnt taste right. I then asked the manager to check if it was Vegan feta. They took their time asking the head chef (Manager should have known when collecting the order from the kitchen) The chef said he used real Feta. A half hearted apology was a despicable attempt at trying to resolve the issue. WHY HAVE A DISH THAT STATES ITS VEGAN WHEN IN FACT IT WASNT. I dread to think what has been served to customers in the past. I also dare not imagine if my partner was severely allergic what repercussions would have happened. My partner has been Vegan for 9 years and thanks to the incompetent chef that is now broken. We will not be re-attending at all in future and warn others who have food allergies to stay well clear.

Pop in on a quick pint on a Sunday afternoon, busy but got served straight away and easily found a table. Definitely will go back for a meal and a few pints

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, great service! Update: April 2023. Visited again with friends as I enjoyed it so much the first time. The standard was not up to scratch. Roast chicken was okay but the sides were not hot. My friend said her Beef was almost mooing because of how underdone it was. Equally disappointed by the apple crumble- the top part was almost inedible, too hard and like warm. Perhaps we caught the chef on a bad day? We didn't say anything as we were celebrating a birthday. A real shame as it wasn't cheap! I must add - service was still great.

Lovely atmosphere. Service was simply perfect. Food was incredible. We visited on a Sunday as a party of 5 adults and 3 kids. I'll definitely go back.
