I had gone to the Dr. and the Chiropractor and that did nothing but put me in more pain. I began a series of acupuncture and physio therapy with trigger point and fascia manipulation in December and I was able to stand and just about walk very slowly when I reached out to Jana to have a consultation via Zoom regarding my back. Jana thought it would be prudent to start when I felt like I was up to start the classes. In the meantime I purchased the bands and the mat to be shipped to me in the US.
In January 2022 I was able to stand and walk with slightly less pain and I was determined to start on Spiral Stabilization as I figured nothing would be worse than how I was feeling just before that. She was very compassionate and sensitive to the fact that I was slowly getting better. I started with private sessions to understand the concepts, the reasons why we need to decompress our spines and put me on a basic routine to start with. Daily I would do the exercises which would only take about 30 minutes and I started to feel better - the lower back felt as if it was finally healing. Then after a few more private sessions Jana cleared me for online group classes and I have been joining her and several other lovely people from all over the world twice a week for 30 ish minutes.
Jana also taught me tools that I could use - for example exercises I should do after a long drive, how to walk properly, how to position your head so avoid compression of the spine and other very life changing tips.
Miraculously I am pain free and I enjoy each session more and more as I gain more confidence and knowledge in the techniques taught by Jana to have a healthy spine and pain free body.
