Superb service and would highly recommend. We had a detachable to bar fitted to suit our needs. Justin arrived on time and quickly got to work prepping the car ready for the tow bar fitting. The rear bumper was removed with a small part at the bottom being cut out to make room for the tow bar which was hard to see when the bumper was back on the car as only cut to size when the tow bar is detached. Justin worked very efficiently and very clearly knows his onions, or I should say tow bars! We decided to have the specified electric pack as the optional extra as we wanted to be sure all the electrics on the car recognised when we had the tow bar on and carrying our bike rack. Justin had a handy tool that he used to test all the electrics were working properly and demonstrated putting the tow bar in and out of its mounting before for he left making sure we were happy with everything. Tried the tow bar out at the weekend with the bike rack hitched on which has the full range of lights on it (13 pin). Everything worked fine and when reversing, the car did not go crazy beeping at us, because it recognised the tow bar was on and we had the bike rack attached with the bikes so did not need to manually turn off parking sensors on the cars controls. All in all, we are very pleased with the whole service from the first time we contacted Somerset Mobile Towbar's through to the finished product on the day of fitting. Would highly recommend
