Great hotel, great service, clean & tidy. Is what I wrote about this hotel years ago. It used to be excellent. However, it sold it's, soul to the immigration service and kick everyone else out, and cencelled or transferred all our booking. So I'll never use it again, ever, neither will I use it's sister hotel, the, IBIS in Bridgwater, as their owned by the same franchisee. I doubt they really care, but as we as a business, brought the over 3000 nights of stays a year at this hotel alone, I'd have expected a better service from them. But they decided to take the government's money and fill the place with rubber dinghy people instead.

We stayed here when the hotel first opened, when we returned this year the standard had not dropped. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the receptionist on arrival was the same. Breakfast was layed out perfectly, and all surfaces were very clean. Would definitely return to this establishment again. Lastest update- Unfortunately this hotel has now been taken over by the Home Office for asylum seekers, presently NOT open to the public!

Didn't even get to stay here.. Notified a couple of days before our stay the hotel was closed. Well it was closed to us but being used to house immigrants.. So Booking cancelled and was put up in the ibis hotel further down the road.. that was great.. NOT.. I really don't want to stay in a hotel on an industrial estate.. so thank you holiday Inn.. wasn't impressed at all
