Hulton Care Home

I worked at Hulton Care for over 10years and they was the best years staff was great and loved residents but since the new manager and owners have taken over its changed a lot off staff left which I never thought would happen a lot off residents was moved out even 101 year lady who been at Hulton for long time.

My mum is in Hulton care for palliative care . The care and staff are amazing Im very happy . I never wanted my mum to go into care and struggled to agree at first but its the best decision made . I feel sorry for the wonderful staff as there on minimum wage work long hours 12 hour shift definitely under valued and under pair for the work they do . The home has just been taken over by new owners and I hope they continue to carry the great CQC reports they have received in the past inspections as I did look at when choosing a home . Thank you to the staff and keep up the good work you do (Angels ).

I found the attitude of the manager and the nurse appauling. Everything was just to much trouble and they continously conplained about the level of care my mother required. THEY left the need to change to a different care home / package to late. This resulted in my mother's swollen legs becoming infected which was ignored by the home and GP. The infection progressed till she was bandaged, rushed to hospital and died of sepsis five days later. This coupled with out of date care plans and leaving her to sit in her urine leaves me with nothing but contempt for this facility.
