Terrible experience, please avoid. We had clear correspondence with Kirsty and the guys. We were given a quote for installation only and was sourcing our own fireplace. This was made clear and at no point challenged, we emailed Paul to let him know our fireplace had arrived ( they also couldnt obtain the one we wanted so there wasnt the option to buy it through them, this was clearly discussed) and told they would not fit it. Two weeks prior to our appointment we how have the fireplace and no one to install. All other work has now had to be cancelled based on this. The correspondence now from the team has now turned rude and wildly unhelpful, with them denying they never challenged us buying our own fireplace. Very bad service. Please go elsewhere.

I chose The Heat Depot because they had competitive prices for the type of stove I was looking for. They have a showroom local to me and I received excellent buying advice when I visited. Upon purchase of the stove, I was given a provisional date for install that was inline with manufacturer delivery times. The survey was completed at the agreed time and I was kept up to date for the install. The installation was completed on the agreed date and went smoothly. The stove looks great in our living room. We did experience an issue with the stove not drawing enough air and a member of the team was happy to do a home visit to assess the issue, and was able to rectify it during the visit. Overall, Im extremely happy with the level of service provided end-to-end and would recommend buying a stove from The Heat Depot.

Please be very careful about using this company. I bought a wood stove from them supplied and fitted. However, they failed to register the installation with HETAS and because of this my stove is practically worthless and no stove engineer will service it. Additionally my home insurance is invalid. Nightmare experience! When I complained about the failure to register with HETAS, they told me they would register the stove but only if I paid them an extra 350. I expect you could find a more reliable company than this and get the job done properly. EDIT, in response to reply. They don't seem to care that my home insurance is invalid and they're responsible because they failed to do their job and register my stove. That's the kind of people they are. They heard about it when I found out it was unregistered, eight years later. That's eight years unknowingly using an unregistered stove thanks to The Heat Depot because they lost the paperwork. Unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. Furthermore, I use solid fuel, because a) that's what my stove is designed to use and b) I live in a smokeless fuel area. You know this. I left another review because you seem to trade under several different names, no doubt to try to launder your past transgressions. Buyers beware!

Just had a call with Kirsty who was absolutely FANTASTIC dealing with some pretty tricky issues. Outstanding product knowledge and service level and is coming out to measure up next week. Shes a huge credit to the company! I will update the review when the job is complete with some photos!
