Rose's Piano School

You cant beat a word of mouth recommendation and thats how I found out about Rose, I feel so very lucky to have found such a brilliant piano teacher! After many years of trying to teach myself, I am now making steady progress, with renewed enthusiasm and I am very optimistic about continuing to achieve new heights. Learning piano with Rose is like being on a great musical journey and it is always so much fun! Updating my initial review: When I started piano lessons, I wondered at what point I might hit a ceiling. Two distinctions and a merit later, Im now on Grade 4 and progressing through it at a much quicker pace than I ever thought possible - thoughts of hitting a ceiling have gone! This is all thanks to Rose equipping me with the skills, knowledge and technique, combined with effective practice methods that have allowed me to advance through grade 4 at a rate that has come as a very pleasant and encouraging surprise!

Absolutely brilliant Rose is the most patient,knowledgeable and supportive teacher .Lessons are fun and fulfilling ; she is selfless in her approach to.teaching and support of her students. As a lady of a certain age and complete beginner,unable to read music,lacking any co -ordination ( I never mastered riding a bike ..or swimming!) I can now read music and enjoy playing a tune ..with two hands!! If you are thinking of taking up piano as an adult ...do it ! You won't regret it ,especially if you learn with Rose .

As a child I had a few piano lessons but didnt stick at it In later years I had a desire to learn again Juggling a family and working full time meant that I didnt really have the time. I plucked up the courage to contact Rose to book some lessons and I am so pleased that I did. Rose is so patient- she makes all the lessons fun and I really look forward to them. I cant believe how much I have progressed in such a short time. I would highly recommend Rose for anybody who would like to learn the piano whether they are young or more mature like myself.

In March 2014 I returned to Piano Studies as an Adult Student, after a long break. When I first met Rose to discuss my ideas and ambitions for the future, she was full of support and enthusiasm for my plans. This has been the theme for the past four years during my lessons. Her teaching style is very friendly and positive. She is not afraid to set her pupils realistic challenges, but there is no feeling of being under pressure. If you wish, you may take the serious route and study for ABRSM exams. Or if you want to just learn for fun and as a hobby then that is not a problem. Her twice yearly concerts are great fun and a great challenge, and also they give you a fabulous opportunity to play on a splendid Grand Piano. Rose offers well structured and planned lessons within a comfortable setting. I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of learning, or any parents who wish there child to learn, to use Roses Piano School for lessons. They will not regret there decision!.
