Beautifully equiped cottage in a quiet location near oxford. Dog friendly, ours really enjoyed the long walks over the adjoining fields and bridleways. The owners were very welcoming and the cottage had everything on arrival, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, farm fresh eggs and even a large lemon drizzle cake which was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Booked last minute after a cancellation last August and this is a great place! Firstly, if you want The Dorchester standards of accommodation, you really must go to The Dorchester and pay their prices! Here you will find the loveliest of welcomes from the owners Pat and Peter and their horses, geese and pigs, a super clean little cottage with fab orihinal features, all your basic facilities, excellent walking from the doorstep and the best location if you want to see Oxford, Blenheim Palace and The Cotswolds. You walk straight into the working stable yard from the front door. This is everything our daily London life is not and we loved it. As a parent of teens, l also enjoyed the extra conversation as a result of the iffy wifi signal to the very far corners of the cottage bringing them into closer proximity! Thank you Pat and Peter!
