We arrived to find a B&B with very little signage to tell us what to do. We were then told to park in the driveway on the opposite side of the road where the rooms were. Both rooms we booked had mould on walls and tiles, some of it looked like it had been treated but the mirror was dirty, the bathroom wasn't clean and the toilet brush in one of the rooms was full of toilet paper. We were asked if we minded them not serving breakfast because it was a special day and we agreed but it was included in the price my partner had paid. My partner was told they were short of staff and given a carton of juice, which I think was their acknowledgement of the problems but I don't think it should be rated 4 star at all! The curtain rails were broken and the cushions on the bed had stains on them too. There was a lot supplied in the room for us, good heating and a strong power shower but it was unsanitary.
