Overall enjoyable visit. We went on an open day when they were serving tea in the walled garden. Paid 10 for admission to grounds, hall and tea room. The tree door treasure hunt on the woodland walk was a real hit with my 10 yr old. Very interesting to go in the hall & see those beautiful estate views from the large windows. The walled garden was gorgeous and felt so calm however I did think the tea experience was disappointing . It was overpriced at 4.50 for a cup of tea & slice of cake as it was not as you would expect i.e. you did not get your own pot of tea with little jug of of milk & extra hot water. It was poured from a large pot which wasn't really that hot & was a rather weak tea which they put the milk in for you. . We didn't see any classic cars either as per indication on website. Toilet block outside was very clean & luxurious.
