We had a lovely experience (our fourth!) celebrating our first wedding anniversary and the beautiful weather complemented the beautiful surroundings. The sounds of nature, mixed with a roaring fire and burnt sausages - it's what life is all about. Thanks to Jon and Jo who were as welcoming and fabulous as ever. Adam & Emma

Great relaxing weekend experience. We had booked the entire site to ourselves and friends. Relaxed, off the grid, but kitted out very well. Close to everything, yet secluded to be on your own. Very clean and comfortable tents and amenities. Thanks Jo and Jonathan. Ps. see you soon.

An amazing hidden gem in beautiful countryside. Perfect for a family get away. 3 large bell tents raised up on decking kitted out with everything you need. Individual toilet, shower and kitchen area for each tent so no need to share these facilities. Brilliant fire pit areas and logs for a traditional camp fire each evening. A lovely wild grass and flower meadow with winding mown paths to explore, so much wildlife to see. We were lucky enough to see a hedgehog, buzzard and a barn owl hunting at dusk. A lovely area for children to play equipped with traditional outdoor games like croquet, cricket, skittles and hoopla. A fabulous village pub a short walk away offering evening meals to make your mouth water and lots of places to visit nearby in Hull, Hornsea, Beverley, Bridlington and Scarborough. This was our second trip and it definitely won't be our last, there's still so much to visit and the warm welcome from Jonathan and Joanne is like visiting family. You couldn't wish for better!
