The Eye Centre Heywood

I forwarded your check up reminder letter to my brother in Italy who had an eye test at your centre while here on a visit two years ago and this is his response: "That centre gave me a thorough examination with good glasses at a low cost. I would willingly go back there for a check up if the occasion arose to be back in England."

Horrible lady seen my son of 3yrs old. Had no patience for him and very abrupt. Wouldnt go back there again. Looks an absolute dive inside too with no central heating on, may as well seen us outside on the street. Absolute disgrace.

Not sure about the remote eye test- the optician is on a screen and you are in a booth. There is an optician on site who was to do my health screening when I picked up the glasses (maralyn) but she dithered about so much, leaving me waiting almost half an hour past my appt time, so I left without it. I'm never late for anything and expect to be seen on time or very close to, this is unacceptable to me and I won't return. Maralyn can di ther about and waste someone else's time but I suggest, don't let it be yours. The glasses feel cheap too but then the price is low. The woman behind the counter was perfectly polite and fine to be fair, unlike the optician who I saw moving boxes from one room to another.long after my appointment should've started-can't that wait?
