        Firehawk 10 year photoelectric smoke alarm started beeping one night last week, then last night went off 3 times, on and on it went. I stopped it with a broom handle twice but on third time when it had been sounding for 15 minutes with no let up, I whacked it off ceiling. It had been installed 2 years previously.
