Help with the Elderly

Sarah is a lovely lady very caring and punctual. My mother has had mental health issues for many years and can be very difficult at times Sarah copes with her really well and knows how to calm her down. I would recommend her

Sarah was extremely helpful with my nan, who for a while now has had issues with her back and leg which means she has had low mobility and as she was living on her own Sarah visited a couple times a week to assist her and to give her some company which my nan loved. Sarah is so patient and understanding with a heart of gold and always went above and beyond. Even sat down and spent the afternoon watching the horse racing :) Highly recommened if you want someone trustworthy, caring, kind, patient and supportive.

Sarah is a kind, trustworthy and caring young woman. She was incredible with my mother as her dementia progressed and mum was always brighter when Sarah arrived. She still visits my dad now, as a friend, and that friendship means the world to him.

I met Sarah Spreyer through Crossroads who care for carers. I immediately found her friendly and approachable and very easy to talk to. Both my husband and I were able to chat easily with her and discuss various problems. She was very attentive showing interest in any concerns we raised. She came on a regular basis and both my husband and I always locked forward to her visits. I felt I could trust her completely and this proved to be correct . Sarah encouraged my husband to chat and was soon able to get him to recall many holidays and family events. He always looked forward to her coming and was in better spirits afterwards. We were both really sorry when she was no longer able to visit. I would definitely recommend her as a support worker, you won't be disappointed.

Sarah provided support for my mum in the final months of her life, and it was something I am so pleased happened. And although my mum was reticent about the visits at first, she quickly came to look forward to them and the care Sarah provided. Sarah's kindness and thoughtfulness had a huge positive impact on us, it was above and beyond what I ever expected, and I will be forever grateful to Sarah for being there.
