Was cycling through on 30th July and asked for large offcut to make pet memorial plaque and in order to find the owner I walked onto his land where he was cutting wood by machine I expected to be chased for trespassing However I was made very welcome and was given the offcut which I am currently working on What a lovely man and also the premises are well stocked Thank you so very much An update on above review I completed pet loss memorial I could not have done this without your kindness in donating me the off cut

I have had my logs delivered yesterday, second time I order from West Country Firewood. I cannot even describe how much I appreciate their services, warm and kind nature, and their due diligence. Not only did I get the logs delivered on a Sunday, but Keith went above and beyond, and made every effort to have the logs delivered right by my home. I live literally on top of a hill, and the access lane is very steep. Keith had to come with two separate transports in his black pickup truck in order to deliver the 2 cubic metres of logs, and did not even expect to be paid for it. Within this batch, I think there was less than 5% kindling/or small bits of wood. The logs are wonderfully seasoned, perfect length and thickness. I do not personally know the people, I found their business on Google at the beginning of the year, hence I am not biased in any way. But if you speak clearly to them and explain your circumstances, be sure that Keith will try to accommodate them. I order with confidence and a smile on my face because they have proven twice already that they are professionally trustworthy; kind, thoughtful and warm, on a human level.
