The Hayloft

We thoroughly enjoyed our first family holiday at the hayloft. We cannot recommend this amazing place highly enough. Rachael, Mark and Alban were lovely hosts. The hayloft was super cosy and we felt at home straight away. The location was fab. We had a day on the beach in Filey and visited Sewerby Hall and Gardens another day. We had miserable weather one of days so we snuggled up in front of the log burner and watched Gordan, Gino and Fred's Road trip. We will definitely be booking a winter staycation at the hayloft.

I stayed at the hayloft this summer with my 2 children. It was perfect, being close enough to the coast for a fab day out Sewerby Hall and gardens in bridlington and only a 10min drive to filey and humanly gap - there was lots to do with out too much driving. Rachel and Mark were really accommodating which helped me feel at home yet having the space and privacy we wanted. The Hayloft was spotless, cosey with character. It had everything we needed. I would really reccomend and we have booked for next year.

Really lovely find for a break away. Rachel & family were the perfect hosts, the Hayloft was really cosy and comfortable and the location feels remote but is still close to Filey, Bridlington and half an hour from Scarborough. Lots of thoughtful little details like toys, books to suit everyone, toiletries and the artwork and decor was really nice. Some outdoor space for kids to run around in and seating areas for warmer days. We had everything we needed for relaxing stay. The bunk room bed is a gorgeous, handcrafted wooden bunk with handpainted artwork on the wall and the bathroom worked for everyone with lovely deep bath and nice hot powerful shower. Woodburner was a nice extra too. Would definitely stay again.
