Vanderbilt was one of many contractors to pitch for our build. The service was above and beyond expectation. From a friendly, customer orientated approach that focused on realising our dream design to a clear transparent costing and fixed price solution. The most important value for us was that we stayed within the time scale agreed and they had an extremely rigorous quality control which meant we did not really have any snag list to speak of. We asked Hendrik for a major renovation of our home. This was something new to us. We found Hendrik to be professional, timely and friendly with a good eye for detail. When we had a question or a concern it was swiftly addressed. The timescale set for completion of the work was kept, allowing us back into our home before Christmas. We have always been given a clear idea of cost and where a challenge was encountered, not least in a time of pandemic, Hendrik found alternative solutions. To conclude, our trust and confidence in Hendrik was well founded. One of the many reasons I am looking forward to living in Guildford, having just moved in, is because of Vanderbuilt Ltd. My tenant introduced me to Hendrik when I needed work done on the inside and outside of the house. His workmanship is first class; not only has Hendrik been superb in all the work he has done for me, but in addition, he is honest, trustworthy, has the nicest manner and is just a really good person. Also, if something requires a more skilled tradesman, he will say so, and he has a large network of people who work for him. So, Hendrik, with his team, has been hard at work and now a tiny bathroom has been transformed into a superb wet room, the old boiler has been upgraded and repositioned, we have a new strong and secure door leading to the back of the house, a large crumbling garden wall is now secure again, the outside wall causing a leak in the lounge has been repaired, rooms have been decorated, and numerous odd jobs have been completed.
