Drift Bridge Garage Limited Volkswagen

My family and I have been long term VW drivers and have always had great experiences with Drift Bridge.

Buying a used car is never easy so I thought i will buy from vw directly even theirs cars were more expensive then the private sellers, I thought i will pay more and at least i will get the assurance that the car will not have any hidden faults, so I bought an approved used car, I was offered a 30 days exchange agreement, After a few days the car developed a fault and will stop mid driving, seems like fault in gear box. I took the car back to them and they simply refused to refund me and instead offered me a different brand car which was higher in price.and said we dont have another similar car. I dont understand if they dont have a similar car why would they offer exchange. I feel like I am scammed. I paid higher prices than private sellers because I thought buying directly from VW i will get a good deal, now I feel I am being ripped off. I am very disappointed and will never buy from VW again

We had an odd experience where we called in advance to test drive a car, and when we got there the salesman was saying to us that he didn't want to do a test drive as it was putting too much miles on the car.. and then proceeded to do a very rude questioning to find a reason why the car wasn't suitable.. he then got up and started escorting us to the door before we'd finished our conversation..so we went down the road and bought the same model with a nicer VW garage. Their servicing department has been really good to us, but wasn't impressed with the way we were treated by sales.

The parts department were exceedingly unhelpful- essentially the first engineer I spoke to was not interested in trying to sort out my issue. My next car will not be a VW
