Friendly service which means I'll now go out of my way to use Driftbridge rather than the post office nearer to me where the staff are miserable

Brilliant service. Pallavi, assisted me recently with a huge mail out of 60 boxes and was nothing short of amazing. Pallavi went out of her way to help me with the administrative side of the project and was so lovely and personable. This is the sort of positive service I am simply not used to receiving. Thank you Pallavi!

I use this post office pretty much on a daily basis to send parcels all over the world. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. Never had a problem.

I visited Londis Epsom Downs (or Epsom Downs as it incorrectly says on its signage), Drift Bridge, on the afternoon of Tuesday 4th January to post some documents via the post office within. I intended to buy an A4 envelope and had a look on the stationery shelves; as a fallback option I had brought my own slightly damaged envelope and some tape to secure it, though hoped I wouldnt need to. However, as it turned out they didnt have any A4 envelopes so I had to use my own. I went to the window and paid for the document to be sent special delivery. As I was leaving the shop the man at the till accused me of not paying for the envelope and roll of tape. I explained that Id brought my own, but he didnt accept this. At this point I asked the lady on the post office counter to come out to confirm that I hadnt used any of the shops stationery. She confirmed to the man that I hadnt. However, in response he was silent. I told him he needed to trust customers and that he should apologise - it was particularly important to me that he did this in front my young daughter, who was with me. He said I wont apologise. I insisted again, to which he responded I wont apologise - get out of this shop and dont ever come back. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. I was both flabbergasted and very upset - I couldnt believe it had happened. This is a good area so it is beyond me why he would think that local residents would be that desperate to avoid paying a pound or so for an envelope. I know this person is not the owner/franchisee - that is an older gentleman who in my experience was always polite. I dont know if the person who spoke to me is a relation or simply an employee, but I doubt the owner would be too impressed to learn that his staff are speaking to customers in this way. I moved to the area six months ago and could well have spent hundreds of pounds in that shop over the years. As it is, I will never set foot in it again. If youd prefer to avoid running the risk of being spoken to like dirt and accused of theft, Id recommend you give this establishment a wide berth - they really dont deserve any of your hard-earned cash.

Paid to have a important letter as signed for. As it was for my new job in wales. They haven't received my letter. I go to complain and the man behind the desks shrugs his shoulders and says it hasn't been sent as 'signed for'. It is an actual lottery if your post will make it to it's intended destination. I implore you, send your post with anyone else.
