Burghwood clinic has been extremely helpful and accurate in diagnosing and treating my long covid. They offer cutting edge treatments for long covid and are able to write prescriptions for pharmaceuticals if necessary. Unlike some clinics they don't operate a 'patient app' and all appointments are made personally with their admissions staff. Consultations may be conducted by telephone or video call if you can't attend personally.

I started seeking treatment with Dr Econs November 2020. Having been taking EPD treatment for many years with other practitioners for allergies and chemical sensitivities. I had come to the conclusion it was not right for me. Dr Econs tried some other strengths of EPD and by July 2021 he had come to the same conclusion as I and we decided to try the Low dose immnotherapy. After initial testing I returned home to begin vaccines and after about six weeks really noticed a difference I feel that I have been given another shot at life going from almost house bound to living a normal life these vaccines are very effective and definitely worth the money. I cannot thank Dr Econs and all the staff at the Burghwood clinics enough for all the help they have and continue to give me.

Our 14 year old son contracted a water born parasite when when he was 2 years old while living in the Pacific and despite getting rid of the infection at the time, he developed lactose intolerance as a result, which we were told he would have for the rest of his life. Never one to accept defeat I was always convinced there must be a way to heal his gut. The journey was long, and there were many dead ends, but earlier this year it finally came to an end when a friend and nutritionist recommended contacting Dr Econs and his team. Our nutritionist friend had discovered that our son had two further parasite infections of a variety that is conventionally thought to be harmless, however new research shows that in some people they can be pathogenic. Dr Econs was able to provide the treatment that rid the parasites from our sons gut and to all our absolute delight he is now able to tolerate milk again. After 12 years it is a joy not to have to scrutinise every ingredient on a packet and think "dairy free all the time. We are still having to be careful, but are so so grateful for the enormous progress that has been made. Our son, historically small, has now begun to grow both in height, confidence and appetite. I have suffered with extreme food intolerance and allergic reactions for nearly 30 years. The standard advice is to avoid troublesome foods. I can do that and it works - but then a very serious problem with that approach emerges: I simply do not have enough to eat and lose weight dangerously rapidly and am understandably, very weak from malnutrition. I searched everywhere for a sensible solution. I am not the kind of person to be hoodwinked by the rash claims of unqualified practitioners. With a first degree in Mathematics and a research degree in Nuclear Physics, I am well aware of the need for a proper scientific solution and approached the treatment with great caution. Dr. Econs and his staff have given me desensitisation treatment to help me survive. The is no doubt that it has been life saving process. Without it, I would have starved to death twenty years ago. In addition - for the first time in my experience - whatever has been prescribed has never caused me any kind of negative reaction. We all know that medical costs are expensive but at Burghwood they seem to be very modest in comparison with other private clinics. The Burghwood nursing and administrative staff have clearly been very carefully selected and prepared. They have been another very valuable help with an efficient, prompt and gentle service. This reliable, kindly care has eased many difficult days for me. I am very grateful for Burghwood and its staff; they run an exemplary clinic.

Outstanding care!! I was desperately ill and had no help from the NHS. I was left to suffer. With the treatment from Dr Econs and his excellent team I have had a very significant improvement to my health. Their knowledge, wisdom and care are gold standard and I only wish that everyone with M.E and severe food intolerances had their help. Their help was not only life saving but life making! At every point of contact I encountered polite, pleasant and proactive care. Inevitably there is expense involved. Highly qualified staff, premises and materials all need finance. Given what is provided it is remarkable value for money. Sometimes the answer machine is on but they are very busy taking care of very poorly people. I have tried almost everything and been to all kinds of medical places but this is the one that is to be applauded.
