Very nice place for the money. We visited with our whole family, 18 of us, for a whole week. It has a tennis court (a surprise hit, don't forget your Rackets and balls), snooker table and ping-pong as well! Kitchen was huge, and had to be because this is where we all ate. Out of the 5 bedrooms on the 1st floor, 4 can effectively have there own bathrooms. (FYI. The water pressure is controlled by a pull cord outside the bedroom at the end of the corridor on the 1st floor..... Once we realised this the water pressure was pretty good.) Some quirky bits in the house which made us smile! Including the stairs to nowhere (blocked off at the top) and a door which only opens a couple of inches to reveal the back of the ensuite to the master bedroom! :) All in all a fab stay. Would recommend.

A fabulous setting and perfect layout for a group gathering. We hired the Forge, the Coachouse and the Stables and used the very large kitchen/dining area in the Forge as our communal area. We were a party of 30 and the layout of the buildings worked well. The setting and the surrounding area are beautiful with good walks from the cottages. We dined at the Cavendish Arms one evening and Heath House kitchen for sunday lunch, both of which I could recommend. Bridget was very helpful and the cottages provided everything we required.

3rd visit with a group of friend. Very spacious property with plenty of room for 18 of us. Everything you need for a weekend away. The furnishings are nice and the beds very comfy. Only complaint was the downstairs toilet had a funny smell which seemed to get worse a the weekend went on but this wouldn't put me off going again.
