Brooklyn Cottage Niton

Brooklyn Cottage is in the very small former smuggling hub of Niton. The village is lovely, with some exciting stories dating all the way back to Saxon times. Today, though, I'd recommend the Post Office. Sounds odd, I know, but it's part functional Post Office, part bar (Joe's Bar), and Wednesday through Saturday, they do fantastic pizzas made in a real pizza oven in the back. As to Brooklyn Cottage itself: this is a superb, well-appointed Victorian two-bedroom cottage. Owners Sarah and Mark have obviously lavished love onto the place: - It has gorgeous, calm decor with everything you need for a wind-down break - It was also spotless. I've stayed in many Airbnbs and often find a wide variety of levels of cleanliness; definitely not a question here Two big differentiators in my book! I was there by myself but could very easily imagine it catering equally well for a small family. Brooklyn Cottage gets a massive thumbs-up from me!

What a fabulous cottage. Is perfectly appointed, amazingly comfortable and Sarah and Mark brilliantly helpful. Not only is it an idyllic spot but is close to tons of beautiful places to visit. Loved exploring Ventnor, pootling along the coast, being splashed during our sunny lunch at The Beach Shack (amazing crab salad) and seeing the Needles and Yarmouth. Cant wait for a return visit. A beautiful home from home. It is impossible not to relax here.
