Just home from a week in Maytime Cottage, it's a wonderful place to stay! The cottage is very spacious with everything you need, amazing views too. Loved chilling in the sun room, garden was lovely too. It's set in a very quiet area, this makes it so peaceful. One tip would be to reverse onto the drive as this makes it much easier to get out onto the lane. It's a great base to visit all parts of the island, we visited so many places in the week, I have added a few photos of these places as well as photos of the cottage. Communication with the owner was excellent too, great to get a good rate for 2 people. We'll definitely be back! Ade and Jan.

Beautiful stone cottage, with lovely woodburning stoves in the living areas and the central heating was ample and efficient on cold days (rare on the IOW!). Great walks from the doorstep was an added bonus. Returning to the cottage in the evenings was a real treat! There are some excellent eateries in Ventnor and a pub within walking distance along a footpath. All in all, a brilliant week and we have already booked for next year!
