Sibbecks Farm Glamping

Well what can we say about Sibbecks other than its AMAZING! From the emails giving information prior to arrival, to the tents and the grounds and then the aftercare it's all so thought out and so much detail has gone into it all.The kids loved the playbarn and playing in the mud kitchen. We had lots of fun games of hide and seek around the site, and enjoyed trying to spot different wildlife. The evenings were spent nice and cosy in the tent playing games with the log fire going, even in April we felt very snug. It was great having time away from technology, and even the teenager survived with less TikTok than normal!! We can't wait to return and do more adventuring soon

Finally something that actually lives up to the glamping name! The benefits of a fridge, electric stove and microwave cannot be overstated, along with your own bath and loo - luxury! All this means a week is not a chore at all (unlike some glamping venues with the daily slog of candles and wood burning stove. Great location for accessing the island, particularly the likes of Ventnor and Compton Bay. Good for direct access onto running and MTB trails, that take you up onto the downs on either side of the valley. Tents themselves are secluded and private. There is a large barn to play in and chickens and ducks to feed twice a day. And electric blankets to cap it all off!

This was our second stay in Meadow Escape. It really is the best in glamping - fantastic amenities in the kitchen, great space to eat, comfortable beds with essential heating pads. And the view is beautiful in the morning, drinking coffee on the veranda. Great that the barn was open this year, with Covid restrictions easing, and our girls (8 & 10) love all that there is to do in the barn and around the farm with the animals. The location is also great - close to Ventnor and the south of the island. Perfect for a long bank holiday weekend.

We had the cutest weekend glamping at Sibbecks farm. The meadow tent was so pretty and so much thought has gone into the little details. The bed was comfy and we were incredibly grateful for the heated blanket (having stayed in late September it was a bit chilly). The barn had plenty of games to keep us occupied during the rain and the honesty shop was stocked full of firewood to keep the fire burning. The lovely owner also lent me a hairdryer as I forgot to pack my own. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Absolutely brilliant site, accommodation and location; so many thoughtful and personal touches too from the owners. We are 7days in to our 10 night stay and have booked again for next year as its been so enjoyable. Our 2.5yr old has loved it, the play barn, feeding the chickens, finding bugs in the meadow and playing in the shared areas. Wed happily have done this on our own though, its just very well thought of if you do have kids, of any age. We have such a private spot and so much natural space, but there is interaction with the owners if you want/need it. Theyre super organised, friendly and full of great recommendations if you want to explore the island. Highly recommend!! We are so pleased to have found this incredible place. Many many happy and special memories had so far.
