I love this pub and the Sunday lunches have been excellent for as long as Ive been going for the last 3 years. Last night without any warning or change to price, my roast dinner was suddenly about the 3rd of the size it has always been, with a particularly sad roast potato rationing. The people at the table next to us said the exact same thing so it wasnt a one off. A star off for my measly portion, and another star off for no communication about it. Disappointing.

Really impressed with the Sunday menu after searching locally for a decent selection that would tick some particular requirements - pescatarian, low fod-map. I found two options which was the main reason for booking but add into the mix a gorgeous back room ( that light fixture!), relaxed and friendly staff and delicious food all round, we booked twice in a month! Everyone was more than happy with their meal and excellent service. Absolute treat - thank you!

No you just expect 1 person to do the job of 2 or 3 people and u don't even employ people that speak basic English how can u work with someone when they dont understand any English or that decide to disappear for 30 minuets months ago friends of mine and family have been in there and on one visit my step mum was waiting at the bar 20 minuets before being served and told she should learn to wait is that appropriate service from ur staff? I don't think so !!!!!!
