The Open Door Surgery

I cannot sing the praises of this practice enough. Online requests are dealt with within hours, sometimes even minutes. I have felt so supported by this practice since I moved here - the care they give is excellent. The receptionists are kind and flexible, the doctors great and waiting times not too bad. I have only dealt with Dr S Mittal by phone, and he has been so helpful every time - very grateful to him for his understanding and his efficiency. I have seen Dr Lowe a couple of times in person and she has been absolutely wonderful - so caring, understanding and really takes the time to reassure and explain. She is a really excellent doctor and I can't recommend her enough. Very grateful to this wonderful surgery who are supporting me through a very challenging period in my life.

We have been using this GP from last 18 years and didnt have any issues previously. However, I booked an appointment for my 3 years old son as he was badly suffering from illness. Most of the times we had to wait from half n hour to an hour from the time of our appointment at the central. Last time we got stuck in the traffic and got there 9 minutes late. The receptionist named Honey told us that we are late and they usually wait for 10 minutes. The 10 minutes elapsed while talking with her. She said that she would check with doctor (Dr Rizwan Syed) if he can still see my son. She was at reception only and didnt make phone call and jut pretended that doctor has denied to see my son. This is very unreasonable as she didnt even talk and meet with doctor and just came to the conclusion without liaising with doctor. We are very unhappy with this sort of attitude from Honey leaving our son suffering.

I live far away from The Open Door Surgery, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Besides the fact that is a walk-in practice, which is quite convenient due to the distance from work, I appreciate the whole staff (Doctors, nurses and receptionists). They are kind, friendly, passionate and efficient. I've been with them since 2016 and NEVER had issues. They listen to my problems and always give good advice. The last time I went, I had seen the nurse, have blood work done and spoken with the doctor all done in approximately 30 min. I was in awe at how time-efficient everything went. The phone appointments should remain in place, in my opinion. Because sometimes I don't really need to see the doctors, just ask some important questions regarding my health that only the GP can address. By far, the BEST surgery in SW London.

All the people from reception are very rude Ill have to change my gp because of them ! Sometime education is not mean everything ! Disappointed

Excellent first experience. Ive transferred from another surgery thats likely to be shut down following 2 unacceptable CQC reports. What a contrast! Efficient and friendly reception and very short wait to see both the phlebotomist and the practice nurse. Blood tests, health check, online access and records update all done within 40 minutes
