I contacted Allan Rowe in December 2021 regarding building work I needed doing, I received his quotation on 10th January 2022 and duly accepted on 11th January, Allan told me he would be able to start around May 2022 and would contact me when he had a firm start date. May arrived and Allan had not contacted me so I tried to contact him. I emailed, phoned and texted and got no response. I eventually made contact with him in June when he told me he had been ill and not working but he was now back at work but would not be able to start on my work until October, I said I would wait and asked did he still want to do the job (a single storey extension) to which he replied yes, and he would contact me nearer the time. October came and no contact so I tried to contact him once again I emailed ,no reply, texted, no reply, phoned, no reply , no reply to any of my messages , I have since October tried on a number of occasions to contact Allan and left messages for him to contact me, he has continually ignored me and to date 12th January 2023 made no contact. All of my messages have been polite and respectful . All of the above information can be checked and verified as I have copies of emails,texts and phone calls. I wonder whether Allan will answer this review with an explanation as to why he chose to ignore me and not do the job we had an agreement on. By the way I am a seventy five year old and have health problems that this extension was being built to help alleviate, Allan was aware of this.

Great friendly professional service, have used Allan on several occasions, for fitting my kitchen and brickwork, quality of the work was fantastic, will definetly use again in the future.

I got in touch with Allan after recently buying an old house which needs a bit of work/ renovation and looking for someone to help me with all that this entails. Allan was really helpful and friendly from the off. With loads of know how and experience from years in building and joinery he is therefore able to be proactive and make suggestions r.e. the works which need doing. He is also very "can do" reliable and trustworthy (he does what he says he will). I have asked Allan to help me in the longer term with ongoing work/projects. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
