I have regularly attended the men's Pilates class at New Wave, as well as having physio here following an ankle injury. The service has been excellent. In terms of the Pilates, I have always found the class hugely beneficial to maintain my fitness as a keen (slightly older ) runner. The classes are thoughtfully crafted, really enjoyable and delivered in an very clear and highly professional way (by all of the teachers). There are opportunities for catch-up sessions if you miss a class and a summary video for home use. The Pilates class is a real highlight during the week and highly recommended for both physical and mental well-being. The physio, from Amy, has been brilliant. I suffered an avulsion ankle ligament injury skiing this year and was struggling to walk, let alone run. Amy has provided regular physio and a personalised recovery programme, which has got me back running (aided by the Pilates) - but do remember to follow all the guidance! Moreover, Amy has managed to do the same for my partner, who injured both ankles in a bad fall this summer. So, New Wave gets "top marks" from us and is "highly recommended".

Excellent service from a friendly professional team led by Kate. I first joined their physio pilates classes when we moved to the area and this has prevented recurrence of a long term lower back issue. 2 years ago, following an accident which resulted in a hip replacement complicated by a major DVT, Kate developed a programme of treatment which speeded my recovery considerably. Most recently I have suffered a very painful knee, I was referred by my GP to have Physio . Amy was not happy with my knee and sent me to A&E where I had a scan and it was discovered that I have a new blood clot in my knee which thankfully is now being treated. I cannot thank Amy enough as this could have been a potentially life threatening situation. I would also highly recommend the excellent sports massages provided by the team which over the years have helped me , my husband, son and daughter in law. I believe that people travel from miles around for their service and we are lucky to have this practice on our doorstep. Thank you so much

Excellent, highly professional & friendly service from Kate & the team. I had a back op 3 years ago & combination of pilates classes, 1:1 reformer pilates & sports physio have got me back playing golf & other physical activities. I can't recommend the team highly enough, not just in improving fitness & flexibility but also in giving great advice which has massively improved my confidence in undertaking physical activities.

I'd had lower back pain for a long time and then when I got pregnant it gotten a lot worse. I had a couple of sessions of physio with massage and I haven't had the back pain since! Went back to them recently with shoulder pain which was fixed in a few sessions as well. Don't hesitate to call them, they really know their stuff!
