For several days have been unable to complete the e consult form. Despite the website saying temporarily unavailable until tomorrow (this is ongoing) lo and behold after three days I finally got through - to be told to go to a walk in centre!!!!!! I give up!!

Just moved to the area from the Wirral and they've been so helpful, very quick and the GP is very competent and friendly.

After over two years of GP's shying away from seeing there customers I.e. there patients, which we were led to believe was because of Covid. Unlike Dentist up and down the country, who continued their upmost best, to see their customers and maintain there health, as did my dentist on the high street. The doctors at Patterdale lodge, are still trying there best to avoid having any human contact, other than that of there friends and family. I went in to the high street surgery on Monday and specifically asked for an appointment to see a doctor!! When asked If I could explain what was wrong with me, in front of those other patients sat waiting, I had to give a full description to the receptionist. She, in her infinite wisdom and presumably, she is medically trained at medical school, if not then how can she determine if I am ill enough or perhaps worthy enough to see a doctor? It wasn't to the following day that I noticed my appointment wasn't to see a doctor in 3 weeks, but was in fact to see nurse Paul. He is a lovely Man and I'm sure a wonderful nurse, the point is I specifically asked to see a doctor. Yet after living here for just over 5 years, this is something I have yet to accomplish and it does remain on my bucket list along with traveling to the Moon and back.
